Patagonia

The Port of Puerto Madryn is on the Argentine coast about half way between Buenos Aires and Cape Horn. The port gives access to the Patagonian hinterland and Peninsula Valdes.

Peninsula Valdes is privately owned Estancia or Ranch Land but contains important wildlife areas, most notably Sea Lion and Elephant Seal colonies and Penguin rookeries
